NEW APPLICATIONS/FULL RESUBMISSIONS

This application window is for new applications and full resubmissions only. For Spring 2026, there will be a separate, later application window for ACPs who received a ‘limited resubmission’ outcome in Autumn 2025 (please see RCEM website for details).

The application window for the Spring 2026 EM-ACP credentialing opportunity is open from 09:00 on Monday 16 February 2026 until 23.59 on Sunday 01 March 2026.

ACPs who wish to apply must be confident, along with their ACP Educational Supervisor, that they will have all evidence uploaded to their ePortfolio before midnight on 01 March 2026 that demonstrates achievement of each SLO/KC to the required entrustment level, and appropriate coverage of the clinical syllabus. Any evidence submitted after the closing date will not be considered except in exceptional circumstances, and at the sole discretion of the Chair of the ACP Credentialing Panel.

The fee for a new application or full resubmission is £324.

Please note:

For the Spring 2026 application window, all ACPs are required to link their mandated evidence to the Essential Elements area of the dashboard. This includes:

• CV
• Academic certificates and transcripts
• Safeguarding and life support course certificates
• MSF summary reports
• ESRs and FEGS
• Summary tables of patient numbers and case mix
• All mandated workplace-based assessments (WBAs), including those for the core and additional procedural skills, and for the clinical syllabus.

ACP Educational Supervisors must review all evidence linked to Essential Elements to ensure the requirements for credentialing have been met, and mark each goal as ‘achieved’. If they wish to comment on the evidence, or provide additional information or context for the Panel, they may add a comment, but this is not mandatory.
